Respite Care

Providing care for a loved one can be stressful and mentally and physically exhausting. Our trained compassionate caregivers can provide family members a much needed break. Our respite care services are available when or where your loved one needs it; at home, retirement or nursing home, hospital, as well as services oriented towards appointments and trips.

Our respite care is any combination of services provided specifically for the purpose of giving relief to the family or caregiver of a dependent person. It is important that caregivers attend to their own needs also, and that’s when Home Care Companion is ready to step in and care for your loved one for time periods ranging from a few hours to a few days or longer.

Being a caregiver for a loved one can be rewarding, fulfilling, overwhelming, and stressful at times. Caregiving is often a full time job. Add work, kids, family, and pets on top of it and you’ve got a hectic lifestyle. Sometimes it is difficult to find time for yourself, family, and friends. So when a primary caregiver needs assistance or a break, we can help. We can schedule consistent weekly visits or provide care during vacations. Our trained and compassionate caregivers are available to step in and help, and provide the help you need.
